Local puzzle data and site analytics

The site has no account or remote solve service. Screenshot recognition, editing, and solving stay in your browser, while Google Analytics measures privacy-safe product usage and timing.

Screenshots are decoded locally in your browser to create an editable board-and-pieces draft.

Screenshot pixels are not stored and are not sent to a solver service. The temporary preview, filename, image dimensions, and recognition confidence are not saved in local storage.

Solver data stored on this device

The board, three piece shapes, and selected strategy are saved in your browser's local storage under blockblastsolver.session.v1 for up to 30 days. Solver results are not saved. The calculation itself runs locally in a Web Worker; there is no remote solve request.

Reset All deletes that storage key. You can also remove it by clearing site data for BlockBlastSolver.tools in your browser.

Google Analytics

The solver sends only allowlisted, typed product events to Google Analytics. Fields include input source, recognition outcome, strategy, result category, move count, lines cleared, duration bucket, example identifier, error category, and numeric timing. Optional result feedback records whether the result was marked correct, the input method, result category, and a predefined failure reason. A completed solve may include solve_ms and compute_ms; an order comparison may include compare_ms and compute_ms. These timings are capped at 60 seconds. Board data, pieces, piece identifiers, coordinates, screenshot bytes or URLs, filenames, dimensions, and free-form text are not analytics parameters.

Google Analytics may also receive standard site-use information such as pages viewed, device and browser details, referral information, and approximate location, and may use cookies. Analytics data is retained according to the settings of this site's Analytics property. This site does not currently include an AdSense advertising tag.
